We used to live on Plaske Drive 40 years ago. Just got re-acquainted with Inferno Pizza. Fabulous pizza, great sauce, great value. Had a chance to meet the owner. We still live in Colonie a little distance away BUT this will be our new place for pizza...
Never disappointed when we have pizza from The Lisha Kill Inferno. Best pizza in the area and their mild wing sauce is outstanding! Always worth the drive over.
Ok, have to update - had a poor experience first time there due to botched delivery service... but the pizza tasted good enough to give them another chances. Haven't had issues ordering a couple times since then. And the game changer - finally tried their wings, and they're awesome. Some of the best wings you can find around here. Great job winning me back Original review: Had a very bad delivery experience- ordered online using a food delivery app, got confirmation of the order and an estimated delivery time. No one showed up, and I waited until 30 minutes after the estimated delivery time to call and ask where the food was. They claimed they never got the order, and blamed the app I used. They asked what I ordered, said they'd get it to us right away, but were confused about the fact that I had already paid for it via the app. Note that I was nice to the person on the phone, holding back my frustration. So, I called customer service of the app - they provided proof that the restaurant did confirm electronically that they received the order... so someone there must have just forgot about it. Called the restaurant back, and they were defensive about it, and made the excuse that they were "very busy" (just a regular Thursday night...). The customer service at the app made it right by providing a coupon for future orders, even though the restaurant should have been the ones to make it right. To top it off, when the food finally arrived (now a total of more than 2 hours wait), they attempted to make amends by giving me a free order of garlic knots - Seemed like a nice gesture, but when I opened the container, the garlic knots were burnt beyond edibility, and didn't even include any marinara! Not sure if this was a "screw you" kind of move, but it felt like it. Only redeeming factor - The pizza was pretty good. Not sure if it was worth the wait and terrible service, but maybe I'll give them a 2nd chance sometime, not ordering thru the app.
